The 3 questions - Vaclav Dekanovsky

3 roses
In every fairy-tail a hero has to accomplish 3 deeds before he gets his prize. And that's why we asked nowadays heroes inspiring personas as well as normal people to share their recipe for happiness.
We are going to ask them 3 simple questions:

  • Why do you love life i.e. what always make you wonder about the greatness of living?
  • Best self-improvement trick - what thought/idea/concept influenced your life the most?
  • Share a story which you will never forget, something which uplifted your life.

Firstly we asked the founder of this page – Vaclav Dekanovsky

Why do you love life a.k.a. what always make you wonder about the greatness of living?
My dreams - I imagine something, anything however crazy it might be there's always a way how to achieve it. To be discovering this way fills me with so much energy and enthusiasm that I can only wonder how beautiful creation the life is.
I also like when someone helps someone else for whatever reason; when you make someone happier their smile is the most wonderful award.

Best self-improvement trick a.k.a. what thought/idea/concept influenced your life the most?
One day I will die and nothing I built will continue to belong to me, so I spend my time doing meaningful thing, things I love, things I believe makes my life and the life of others more interesting.

Share a story which you will never forget, something which uplifted your life.
From time to time we discuss with our friends whether the sportsmen, actors or musicians deserve their high salaries. I always agree that they do. The reason is simple, they motivate millions to aim for something greater that they imagined possible before. If a surgeon saves someone life on the operation table, it is a miracle a great demonstration of how he can outwit unfavorable odds, but he influences only a few people. I remember when Czech hockey players won gold Olympic medals. The whole country was celebrating. Until these days people remember it and it can uplift their spirit when they feel low or motivate them to do something great which would also inspire many people.
Same it was few year later in Finland when local group Lordi won Eurovision song contest something generation of their fathers tried to achieve. 80000 people were enthusiastic, singing on the open air concert held to celebrate their victory.
Similar was the story of Jamaican bobsleigh boys in the movie Cool Runnings. They lost the race but showed such a great determination to achieve something that they motivated others to become better. That is why we need stories of success, achievements and heroic deeds. They motivate us to become heroes ourselves.
That is what Jack Canfield and Victor Hansen did with his Chicken Soup - before those stories were little personal jewels but after they published them they become pools of motivation and hope.
